Mexican Blanket Purse

I have this very old tattered Mexican blanket book bag that my dog Tinker just loves.
She knows if I pick up that book bag she, not only gets to go along for a ride; she also is allowed to accompany me in  the store.

She receives lot of attention, peeping her eyes and ears out of my bag, looking so sweet & sad. She is too  precious for words.
I love her so much!

I rescued her from the animal shelter this last December. She was sitting, shaking, and crying all alone in the kennel.
The shelter said they found her wandering the city streets aimlessly.
She’s debarked, and has scars on her stomach.  I placed her in my blanket purse, signed the adoption papers and away we went.
It’s been her favorite book bag ever since that moment of time in her life when she was rescued.
I just can’t imagine what her life was like before; moreover,  I can’t imagine what life would be like without her.

She is good therapy for me. She keeps me calm, peaceful and in touch with what’s really important, love…

A letter of gratitude!

Peace! Love, and dogs…forever!

    • Oh thanks sincerely! I never pictured myself as a chihuahua person. But she was sitting alone, shivering, looking up at me with those sad eyes. There was a definite connection!
She came fixed, with shots, house broken, and silent! I think some sick person debarked her. She’s so cute though. Everytime she barks it sounds like a duck! Fun but sad! Oh well I love her so!
